In a recent press release, all doubt within the European Union over the patent relating to PVC Decking and which products are protected by it has now been finalised. The patent is stronger than ever with the newly signed licensee agreement between Flexiteek and Wilks. This will give, in addition to Flexiteak and their private brands, the Dek-King product exclusive rights within the E.U. and non exclusive rights globally to sell under the Flexiteek patent. Looking to the future, Wilks looks forward to continuing to build on the established success of its Dek-King product and to expand further into the global market.
