Returns policy

No returns will be accepted without prior consent from Teakforboats.com. Complaints regarding unacceptable quality must be made in writing within 28 days of invoice date.

If an incorrect product has been ordered, Teakforboats.com must be notified within 7 working days of receipt. Please contact us to arrange the goods return. Once the goods have been returned, we will refund the value of the product but we will deduct any carriage /postage charges that were incurred. We will also charge a re-stocking fee. For your protection, where you are returning an item to us, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

Please also note that you will be responsible for the costs of collection in the event that our carrier is used to collect any items from you to return to us. Short or damaged deliveries must be notified within 5 working days of receipt. Deliveries must be checked for damage prior to signing the Carrier's delivery note. No complaints shall be entertained if the Carrier's delivery note has been signed as "received in good condition".

We recommend obtaining product samples prior to ordering especially in the case of window rubbers, edging trims and replacement inserts as products that are ordered and cut to your specification cannot be returned. Non-stock items cannot be returned unless faulty and with prior arrangement. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We are committed to total customer care and abide by the principles of The Malta Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept Bank to Bank money transfers in advance. In some circumstances we accept payments by Paypal and as such are binding under their rules and regulations. Paypal payments incure and additional charge to cover our Paypal fees.

Delivery

We aim to despatch orders of stock items within 5 working days of receipt. If items are out of stock our Sales Department will contact you and advise you of the expected delivery.

Pricing and Delivery Charges

Please note that all prices quoted are exclusive of 18% VAT - unless stated otherwise. Orders coming from a European Union member country will incur 18% VAT to the final price. In case the buyer has a valid EU VAT number, we will nut charge VAT. We will also not charge VAT for non EU countries but please also be aware that there may be duties and/or other taxes levied upon the importation of your order. This charge will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please contact us to discuss your requirements as we do ship globally.

Delivery charges will be worked out prior to the placing of any order.
